In my experience, Los Angeles is one of the most pet friendly cities in the United States. In some cities (including New York), pets are heavily restricted from most places at a hotel. But in LA, he’s been welcomed like the superstar that he is to some of the best rooftop pools in the Hollywood Hills.
Hawaii’s strict animal importation rules can make traveling with a pet feel daunting, but careful preparation ensures a smooth journey for you and your dog. I’ve brought Dash to Hawaii on a few occasions, and once you know the process, it only gets easier.
While most hotels I’ve visited are dog friendly, occasionally there are a few resorts that don’t even allow service animals, so you need to double check before booking.
